How did you aquire a picture of my brain so early in the morning?
Did you white balance on the first one? Did you sharpen in the post shot?

white balance was on but i added a chroma glow filter and messed in color correction and contrast, and yes its an orange

You seem to want feedback... I know how that feels
They look good in as much as you got the camera out of the box, recorded, adjusted and posted Great work! Artisticly?... Who's to say. I thinf the focus could have been better and I would like to see a grab of the actual colors. But I think using the DVX and posting always looks good

Aaron,
First, congrats on getting the DVX.
As someone else suggested, I would reccommend you concentrate on getting nice natural colors to start. Color correction and post production tricks can wait.
As for your shot, it is fine, but to be honest there isn't that much to comment on; it's just an orange. Perhaps the most surprising thing is that the organge isn't orange.

Aaron, I have had mine for a couple of weeks & have hardly played with it ... Reading the spots off the book & spending lots of time on this site. My learning curve is exagerated by the fact that I have recently purchased Canopus EDIUS 2.5 editing programe. I tend to subscribe to the old addage, K.I.S.S. Keep playing & keep learning, I love my DVX.
