Some Grabs from Christmas

[BryantStanton]

Hey guys.

Just some random grabs from some xmas footage I shot. Got my 5 hour dvx battery that morning, so I had to test it out! I think the footage turned out mostly great, and I've already started cutting up a little christmas video for the family.

Anyway, let me know what you think. Oooh and Ahh, or call them crap, just let me know why. Thanks guys!

My dad, opening gifts.

Mom, getting ready for dinner.

Got a nice rack focus on these NOEL figurines.

More figurines.

Dad again, doing computer work for my luddite grandparents.

Grandpa.

Tasty beverage.

I like this one the most I think. The shadows kept a lot of detail and in motion this looked fantastic.

So there we are. Like I said, I hope to be posting a video soon (anyone know some good export settings from vegas to online?).

Let me know what you think.

These look good for natural lighting -- a little flat, but acceptable.

I like #6 because it's exposed properly. Your family should enjoy the video; be sure to post it once you're finished.

Good work.

Yeah, my grandparents have a fairly dark house. The camera performed better than I was expecting, but I wish it would have bit a lot more lit up.

Try messing with your 'master pedestal' a bit...Otherwise nice shots.

Moving it up or down? I think these were all shot at -2. I usually keep it lower (around -7), but since the house was already dark I tried boosting it up a little bit to see if it might help.

Thanks for the suggestion!
