Just wrapped day 5 of shooting for a web series that should be coming out in the next few months. We have a couple more shooting days to go and expect to have 11-12 episodes completed for online viewing pleasure.

I won't say what it's called or what the story line is, cause this clip doesn't really need it, but I hope you guys enjoy it. Rough cut, no sound editing yet, but still fun!

Liked it. I just think you could have worked out the lighting a bit better.

Best and keep at it!!!

Thanks for checking it out.

Ufortunately this is one of those locations where this is pretty much the best we could do given the setup. We shot with a dolly in a hallway that was 5 feet wide, 8 feet tall and roughly 13 feet long. In there, we had to have someone on sound, someone to operate the camera and someone doing dolly grip. The dolly grip had to switch on a light right when the first character gets in and immediately begin the dolly movement. Our only option was to bounce a light off of the ceiling to avoid too heavy a contrast, and to avoid characters getting much much brighter as they enter passed camera, and then for the opposite angle, it needed to be continuous. So yeah, one of those scenes where lighting isn't the most interesting but hopefully the focus from a standard viewers perspective will be just enjoying the scene.

Cheers!

So i would frame just talking heads and care about lights more, its more important than seeing wide shot with 2 people and uninteresting background on infinity without DOF.Lighting was quite flat here, i know its a comedy but it just looked like random lighting shot.
*Not a fan of orange white balance so i would correct it a bit, on location i would light backgrounds with colder light so you could easily separate it from you and actors during color correction, sometimes its hard when theres only one light temperature in frame.

A couple more grabs from a scene that takes place right after. Decided to go for more natural colours. May still warm it up slightly.
