Some first basic HVX200 clips...

Ok I have spent a few hours looking through the menu and learning the HVX200 a little more. I love the software layout. I felt the JVC HD100 was the best and the Canon H1 was kinda lame. However the HVX200 menu system is well designed and light years ahead with an overlaying menu windows that are awesome. Top notch programing went into the HVX200, that's pretty darn obvious.

I shot footage in 1080i/60 and some in 1080p/24 with the factory F1 mode. I did shoot three clips with -3 ped and + 3 sat. Captured them into FCP 4.5 which was flawless and P2 just rocks. Then simply exported them as 1280x720 with the photo jpeg codec at 29.97.

These clip are the first shots ever captured with my HVX200, so they simply suck to be honest. So I'm sorry I can't offer better at the moment Im in the middle of a project that has my priority, so Im unable to find time at the moment to at least get something better. I will soon, however I wanted to share something even though it's blahhh since many of you have shared a lot too.

I dunno, looks pretty good to me.

Hi Spencer! The camera is an excellent performer... I shot some lowlight last night and it was quite good!
