Hey, guys, we got a lot of questions on how we make some of our action short films so a friend and I put together some tutorials. This is the first one edited and we'll be putting out more (and more complex) episodes soon. Hope this helps, cuz DVXUser has been a big part of my filmmaking growth and it's always good karma to give back  Let me know if you've got any requests or questions! :)

Its ok, now do kicks and tell about hand positions and mistakes that people make with their feet or hands while kicking (yes hand position can ruin the look of your kick).Cause looks like you guys know what youre doing.
You can see in new mission impossible 4 trailer Cruise kick looks lame because his wrists are in very uncontrolled position, like if he did it without learning first or had problems with balance.

Hey, thanx a ton, jonE5!!! That's an awesome blog you made!!! *favorited* =)

And I guess this is officially a series now! :P Youtube even give us partner status after only the first day!! We're really excited!! Episode 2 is up and we'd love to hear any further feedbacks/requests/questions! I'll definitely have it in queue to do an episode on choreography workflow, now. =)

Please don't forget to subscribe if you like the work thus far :)

We got Episode 3 up! We're changing the pace a bit and did an episode on props and weapons in this one.

I
'm getting very close to doing an episode on cinematography and choreography. I kind of want to do those right so I won't be just throwing it out there without some care, haha. Please subscribe if you like the work and PLEASE help us get the word out in the filmmaking world if you can!! =) Thanx, everyone!

Dude, I'm going to be training an actress tomorrow. I'm going to send some of these to her. I think it will give her an idea of what's going on. She has some martial arts training, but I think this will help her convert training to film fighting.

And good work on those beginner techniques. I use those and a few others to help actors prevent injury when not padded. You guys are doing real good with these vids.
