I’m selling this system on Reverb for $408 obo. You’ll pay sales tax, if applicable, but I offer free USA shipping. People on Reverb do not know the value of video sound gear, but you do, and you know this price is hard to surpass.
The big feature of this system is the MixPre-D, which is aesthetically pristine. The last time I used it on-set was more than 10 years ago. I just did a quick simple test with a mic and headphones. Sound goes through, meters work, and the pots are clean. I bought this slightly used from dvxuser in September 2012 for $710.
The 302 is quite old, I bought it used locally in January 2012 for $1100, and it was already scruffy-looking. I never used this on-set per se, but as a stage mixer about ten years ago. I just did a quick simple test with a mic and headphones. Sound goes through, meters work, and although the pots appear clean, I recall a couple years ago hearing scratchiness when I used it as a headphone amp.
The Petrol Bag came with the 302 when I bought it and I might have used it once or twice. But it had been used on-set by previous owner(s).
I bought the breakaway cable new from Markertek in October 2011 for $178 and only used it a few times.
All this tasty gear fits into a Large Flat Rate box, so I offer free priority mail to the United States. My post office is only open Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.
Before I bought all this gear, producers nudged me to get better equipment, but I was never called back and did only a few indie gigs. I found main work indoors getting a feed off the board. Ironically, I now have a newfangled Zoom F6 and Tentacle system but still no gigs. Maybe I’ll make my own movie.
