Looking forward to Sony's new A99II. I've been using A-Mount glass with the LEA3 adaptor on my FS7 for the past few months (as I moved from Nikon glass) and ordered the A99II as soon as it was available for pre-order. It pretty much ticks all the boxes for a weather-sealed hybrid still/video shooter. (I'd love 4k/120fps, but let's be realistic...) It doesn't ship until the end of November, so now it's a waiting game.
My current A-Mount lens lineup isn't as comprehensive as I had with Nikon, but it's a start:
- Sony SSMII 70-200 f/2.8
- Sony DT 16-50 (APS-C... just for the FS7, actually.)
- Sony Zeiss 135mm f/1.8 (currently my favorite lens)
- Rokinon 8mm fisheye (Not great APS-C lens, but sometimes handy on the FS7.)
Need to also add a wide. Will probably get a 20mm prime, since that's what I use 75% of the time with my 16-35 and smaller is better for rigged shots. Then again, the 16-35 SSMII is a newer lens design versus their 20mm... hmmm...
Anyone else have an A99II coming?
