Vegas isn't available for Mac, right? Only PC

What NLE software does anyone recommend-

Final Cut Pro? I'm sure it's great, but it's so damn expensive. And I wish I could buy it without buying Final Cut Studio.

Has anyone out there bought Final Cut Studio..?..(the four software bundle that includes dvd4, soundtrack pro, design, and final cut pro)

any help or words would be appreciated!

Correct. Vegas is only available for PC. I'll let someone else answer your Mac questions, since I have no clue what I'm talking about there.

Well, in reality, FCP used to be $999 by itself, so for $300 more you're getting 3 extra programs and a helluva deal.

thanks for all the input..

oneinfinloop- so you think those other three programs are worth it? (I thought FCP would have a decent enough audio section by itself. Do I need another one? And I already have iDVD for my MAC... but if all that stuff is truly worth it then I'll step up)

Thanks again!
