Software or SaaS for freelancing and producing? (never loved QuickBooks)

I get hired for my craft, and I also hire others when I produce. And usually both of those involve a client above the producer. And I'm hip to using a payroll company when needed. Also, I'm not really a fan of Intuit. So that all said... I'm looking for an alternative to QuickBooks Desktop.

QuickBooks Online?
Freshbooks?
Wave (though I'm hearing it's getting buggy...true?)
Zoho?

What's working for you?

I use Quickbooks Online at the moment.

I had previously used Wave a bit, mostly for estimating but not really invoicing. This was a couple of years ago, but Wave felt pretty underdeveloped in its features.

I'd also spent some time using BlinkBid early on, but it was a bit too specialized for most of the jobs I was doing and Quickbooks got the job done a bit more easily.
