Hey Guys, just thought I might provide some feedback on the Sock-Loupe which i have now used on three outdoor shoots. AMAZING!!!! it really has the effect of turning your LCD into a large screen tv while allowing you to clearly see what's in focus.

Hello, I am Argentinean and 15 days ago I have bought a Sock-Loupe via pay-pal. Not I have had more answer and he/she wanted their help to communicate with the maker. Pardon for my English and thank you.

Hmmm...

The webpage is misleading, the only price it displays is this: "Shipped worldwide priority for just 6.95 USA or 14.95 anywhere else."

Then when you hit the BUY button the price in the cart is 80 dollars.

Don't want to buy the sock-loupe any more =/.

80.00 dollars sounds like a good deal to me. How much did you expect to pay for something like that?

Personally I wouldn't buy it unless it's considerably cheap, like I initially thought it was.

50 dollars including shipping would have done it for me. I payed 50 dollars for my MxR, which I consider a far more useful device.

I've got one and it's quite amazing, the clarity and focus is top notch.
It also works as just a sunshade hood as well, you can remove the diopter and sock cover. It truly immerses you into the shot via the lcd.

Is this a different maker than the Hoodpro sock-loupe that was talked about a while ago? Is one better than the other? I bought the one everyone was talking about previously (haven't used it yet though) but it doesn't look quite like this one.

There is a newer , updated model out from HOOD PRO with improved stability from the diopter part flopping and easier to attach, etc..
It's also minus the older model "cake icing logo" but the optics are the same, the one above is the first generation, this is the newer one. Cheers

Yep, works just fine. I think the price it just about right too. It is a lot cheaper than trying to hook up an external monitor especially when doing run and gun work outdoors. I had been having great difficulty seeing the LCD in bright sunlight. The Sock-Loupe has solved that for me.

Hello group!

Finally the Sock-Loupe today arrived!

It's amazing! With the battery BP-U60, the EX1 works fine in my shoulder.

Thanks Mike!

(Sorry for the english again)
