Lots of problems with this footage, but this was my first test. Testing the built in ND's. Testing the focus assist. Just trying to find the sweet spots of the camera. Lots of new things to get used to. I shot wide open on my lenses. Nikon 50mm 1.4, and a Tokina zoom lens that is 70-280 i think. Lots of blown out shots. Some of it is too soft because I was wide open.

Just wanted to see how the footage reacted to me trying to fix it.

Watch out for that VFR setting. I think most people will leave it on and not realize there isn't any sound being recorded.

+1. Always leave VFR off unless you're specifically recording off-frames at that particular moment. And turn it off right away so your sound will be recorded.

Yah, a lot of hurt feelings are going to happen because of that. Too bad they didn't just cut the audio when in VFR mode.

I'm pretty impressed all things considered! How is the cmos jello factor? less than the HPX300? I dig the 16mm DOF equivilant in the 4/3 sensor with Nikon 35mm lenses! Looking forward to more tests and reviews in 2011! Thanks!
