Its been like what... 2-3 years now? When are we all going to get together in NYC and have a giant meet and greet? If my gaming clan can do it for 2 times a year, 4 years straight why shouldnt we? That would be something. Everyone coming from all over the world to meet. We get people from all across the country for the gaming thing.
You cant tell me gamers are more die hard than film makers now right? They definitly cant be making more money and can afford the trip now can they?
Just a thought while reading through the Zombie Fest posts. I mean how many people feel like they know Jarred, John and Barry already?

The east coast would be cool for me, but we ought to make it somewhere more central that has a good air hub with cheap flights. I'd suggest Chicago, because of the easy air access, good selection of hotels, and just because it's a great city. Another option would be doing it at the 2006 NAB, although we'd have to heavily drug Hudson to get him on the plane. :)

John: Atlantic City? Have you been there, because it's really a hellish pit.

Seriously, I think it's a great idea. More realistic if it's planned around an event like NAB, Siggraph, etc though. What would we do for days if we all just showed up in one city together? CRAZY FUN

(I know you'll all say "make a movie!", but cmon...)
 
Man o man, I would say I'm down for NYC, but boy... would I ever love an excuse to get up to Alaska... and he's right; We Need A Vaccation!!!

Here's another idea, why not at Sundance 2006? I think that would make the most sense, seeing as how we're indi film makers, wouldn't that be our mecca?
