Bit flustered by my workload so just trolling the forum...

Was wondering you all do when you are not spamming the forums.

I'm Busy with pre prod for a musical and an art film, also preparing the paperwork for those anal bond completion dudes on another project.. soooo much boring assed work man!
I just wanna rock up and Direct!

What y'all busy with at the moment?
*Genuinely interested*

currently, while not trolling the forums, I'm working on finding a new job.
Just got fired this past Tuesday.
oh, woe is me.

Just finished shooting a video companion to a study guide on a museum exhibit. After it's edited, it will be about 6 hours long. Seriously.

Also, setting up the last details for my VillainFest entry to be shot next weekend.

Color Correction on a music video I shot & Cut. Meanwhile, finishing some shooting on a feature which is in preliminary editing mode.

Today, keying footage for a music video; logging footage for another music video; finishing up the art work for a Facebook business page for a Bed & Breakfast; wondering what the freak happened to my disipline.

Working on storyboards and concept design for a new IP (cross media).

Finishing off location scouting and doing pre-prod for a movie I'll be Directing next year (passion project) so I get to use my Lomo's on a full scale project in anger (finally). Test shoots soon, so energy is being stored for this :)

Finishing up CGI design/previz for a title sequence - the fun bit before it goes into full production & sucks the life out of me & my CG crew for 2 months :(

... and randomly posting to pass the time - LOL.

I'm in festival application mode. Just announced today MARIANNE is accepted to FANTASIA in Montreal so we're doing our world premiere there. I've applied for over 30 more festivals as well, but so far most people seem to really like the film a lot.

I also have to fix some things in the titles and get a DCP made.

I'm trying to get things together for a short film I'm shooting at the end of June and trying to find a business partner. I've been not doing much production work for a while, and I plan to jump back in- I just need one person to complement my skill set as a business partner. So far finding someone hasn't worked out, but there are a couple of candidates left. I'm also hoping to build an army of robotic soldiers in order to conquer everything, but the funding hasn't come through quite yet.

Finished 3 shoots, one short film, 2 docus. Hated working on the docus, rave reviews. I thought they were crap.

Loved working on the film, awful reviews, thought the film was good.

Also prepping for shoot day on a 2 year long personal project. I ain't giving up on this, it's a movie I wrote (yes I know we all have those).

Going to now mop floor, shower and buy beer.

DPing my first feature. We started shooting last Friday and will wrap at the end of the month.

Half of the film will be on a controlled set. The kicker: all of our exteriors are at night, so I'm on a bassackwards schedule right now.

I'm also hoping to build an army of robotic soldiers in order to conquer everything, but the funding hasn't come through quite yet.
You could also use evil minions. I think you can get money from the EU if you take them from Europe, or at least they might pay for your underground lair if you have it on the continent.

Have you conquered everything before?

After having some pretty horrible and underpaid initial experiences out here in DPing, VFX, and color correction, I'm retooling my ambitions exclusively towards writing and acting. Writing isn't really anything new to me, but I haven't acted in 10 years--since studying Theatre in junior college. I'm considering an improv course at UCB, Groundlings, or Second City. Anyone have any experiences with those places?

Right. that's it.
Staring at the screen aint makin my admin go away so i'm finding a new avatar!

I like the idea of an army or robots or minions. We should star wiping out the film critics first.

I troll and spam this site, why? Is that wrong? I have a bunch of cellphones, TV's and A/V gear oh and a bridge I can sell you....

Actually picking up some new audio gear for getting back into doing sound on set for a living. Have a gig tonight (10pm to 7am.....ugh), and a commercial on Sunday. Monday I find out if I booked a feature.

Finished up a possible villain-fest script last night so frantically trying to get that into gear. storyboards a little later in the day I think. It's too hot and muggy here to even think about going outside.
