The DVX102 is a PAL DVX100. There is a huge gray market problem in Europe so they made two models for distribution. The camera is virtually the same as the DVX100E.

no no no. that is the DVX 100A.
It is called 102 (PAL, 25p) here in Asia as well, because Panasonic can then monitor grey imports that are sold here.
I bought mine through Panny's authorised dealers with their warranty and its says 102 on mine.
Let's say you want a parallel imported DVX 100A (NTSC instead of Pal) then you would end up with 100A on the camera, from whichever non-authorised dealers.
