So what happened to the AF100A and the whole pseudo 10bit thing?

Mine arrived in a sealed box...not opened before...minus the great book, but that is okay, this was my second AF100A purchase. The first one I got with a warranty and Barry's book. Yes, I can get 60p out of it and the audio is great. Previous to this I was using Canon 5D Mkiis and forced to use a $1,000.00 RW digital audio recorder because the audio on the Canons is so awful. The AF100AP has proper 48khz audio and the preamps seem pretty quiet...not much hiss.

Yeah, the mic in's are pretty good on the AF100 but if you can put a mixer in front of it and go line in, it's really great.
