So the world didn't end...

...and we're still here.

No we're not.

In reality, the whole experiment critically malfunctioned and our galaxy imploded on itself in the blink of an eye. Luckily for us, a funky side effect of the collider instantaneously caused a perfect duplicate of our galaxy to materialize in the exact same state as it were before the implosion, causing no interruption in our perceivable time line. The fact that we are all "still" here is proof of my claim.

Ha ha...I guess thing this is still only running at half capacity after the previous accident, so maybe we have a few more years.

That would perfectly explain several of the dreams I had last night.

Was that an "over 60" time line?

Anyone posting to this thread really ought to see a Bruno Kirby film called The Quiet Earth...

"But the Americans told us it was perfectly safe...!"

Actually, while I was asleep last night, someone broke into my house, stole everything, and replaced it all with exact replicas.

...ok this one is a total rip off from Steven Right.

And who is responsible for this whole universe shakeup thingy? I'm pretty sure it was a guy named Eddie.

The Large Hadron Collider smashed particles at three times the energy levels previously attempted, and we're still here.

speak for yourself. i've been fighting these things off all day.
