So Scripted! DVX Short film

You can find more information about So Scripted! as well as screengrabs and CC tests in my other post in the "DVX News" thread. I am posting the link to the finished film here, as well as in my other post, just to make sure people get a chance to see it. The film is being entered into the Florida Film Festival, and the Hayden Film Festival. Enjoy!

So Scripted!
PLEASE download the file, as it is hosted on my editors server, and I know its a lot of b/w. Thanks!

If anybody out there hasn't watched this yet, I recommend it, totally. Usually when I watch shorts that are posted here I watch closely for color and continuity and thirds and yada yada, but I actually got caught up in the story, mostly because the acting was good. One of the best DVX projects I've seen here so far. Keep em coming!

Just finished watching it. That is very very good! I recommend it too. Although I still question why the 2 guys that show up in the end are the ones the other 2 are using in their scripts as actors.

Nice work....

"Maybe instead of hitmen, they should be assasins." LOL! ROFL!

Lighting needs some work, but great writing.

yeah, this was excellent. i think a lot of people should take notice of not only the decent acting, but the great sound of the dialog as well. good work.

Hey thanks! Wow, it sure means alot to hear good reviews on something youve worked so hard on for months on end. If you have any other comments or questions, please ask!

Thanks Briceman, im glad you liked it. The Jeremiah character is played by Danny Ledonne, who is also the writer and editor. I hear ya on the lighting...But I dont think it looks bad for being shot with 1 250 watt flobank!

I really liked it!

It got my full atension the whole time

The only drawback that i have is that the short did not have a twist/punchile or just a nice ending. It just stopped without any real progress. So iam having trouble with that.

But if i do not count the ending, the movie is REALLY REALLY nice :dankk2:

that was extremely entertaining. really like the way the intro "script" makes you think the very thing the other two are saying, lol. you worked that device very well. good job.

I liked it! The third script in black and white was hilarious.
My only real crit has already been stated - i, too, think the ending is a little anti climactic. I think there were a lot of ways that it could have ended, and the way it is now is kind of lack luster. Also, the black and white scene is the only one that isn't in widescreen - was that intentional?

Yes, that was definitely intentional. My editor actually suggested that we stretch it back to 4:3 for realism. I have never seen an "art" film letterboxed or matted. Just got a higher res trailer uploaded so you can check that out. Enjoy!
