Which parts do I need to replace if I want to fix this?
Here is the problem: My DVX usually plays back fine, but I get occasional dropouts or noise in the sound every 5 minutes or so. I know that this is not related to the tape, because it happens at different places every time. And yes, I have run the cleaning tape for 5 seconds.
Sounds like it would be best to just buy a cheap cam to use as a deck?
