Maybe this is a common problem with a simple resolution, but after a quick browse over posts, I didn't find my prob.
Went to use my camera today, and the moment I turned it on, the timecode was counting up, like as if I was recording. I had no tape in it, and the no tape symbol was flashing.
After an initial freakout, I found that somehow the timecode counter was on free run. I switched it off, and everything seemed okay.
I recorded some stuff, turned it off, took out the tape and went about doing other daily stuff.
I've come back to use my camera, turned it on and my timecode that was on when I recorded is still present on the screen. I just put in a tape, rewound it, and upon stopping it jumped back to the timecode that was on the screen when I turned it on.
Anyone know my problem. Anyone know a solution?
Thanks.
