To anyone out there that might be able to help... I don't know if this is fixable or if I am screwed and will have to do re-shoots... But here's hoping for the best.
I was shooting footage with an HVX170 and an HVX200 - the 200 was more a b-camera and used mainly to catch sound from wireless units that we did not want to encumber our a-camera with... Anyway our student data wrangler later captured the footage from both cameras. The sound from the b-cam is great and more than usable, but when I try to sync it up with the footage from the a-cam - its as if the a-cam was shooting at a different frame rate - the sound (captured by the on-board shotgun mic) is out of sync from the beginning and then drops out completely on the a-cam footage 10 seconds in... Has this ever happened to anyone - is it fixable... All I want to do is fix the footage to roll at 24fps as it will then sync up to my b-cam audio - and thus I will be able to save the scene...
Does this make any sense... Please HELP....
