F3: 'Snuffed' Short Film

This was a fun one (albeit challenging). A short little satire about the incredible speed with which Australia cycles through Prime Ministers.

'House of Cards' was the obvious reference, and we absolutely lucked out with an INCREDIBLE location, that gave us everything we needed in the one place (which was lucky, as we had a single day to shoot it, and an absolutely barebones crew to shoot it with).

Lighting-wise, the whole film was shot day-for-night. And I lit it almost exclusively with Dedolights (which was a lot of fun, and felt quite refreshing compared to the usual softly-softly routine).

Brilliant! You do some lovely work. The F3 was and is such a great 1080 tool. But it takes an artist to make it shine, and you do it very well.

Just saw yesterday one F3 on ebay with RGB444 Slog upgrade for 1000 dollars... thinking to buy a back up camera....

For that kind of money, it's an easy call to make.

I just shot a spot for Seiko with Novak Djokovic the other week using the F3. The camera delivered the goods as always.
