Snowboarding GH1 edit

Looks great. What were your settings as you stayed in focus while boarding, nice? And, the snow did not blow out the highlights.

Edit in FCP? What was that workflow like, sequence settings?

I'm learning HD myself!
 
i shot with the kit lens. i rarely run into problems with its auto-focus. i used a ND filter but it was still way too bright out there but the snow didnt come out too bad. i edited in after effects and just dropped my 720 footage onto 24fps timeline.
 
Good job in the hard lighting conditions! Shooting in sunlight and snow is bloody difficult. You got great shots in motion there once the action gets going. And I like how you build up to the actual skating and then have a quick tail on the story.
