Snow Footage 60p

I am struggling to understand why this footage is so amazing ??? any clues ?

It's a nice example of variable frame-rate footage shot with the HVX200. I would say 'amazing' is taking it a bit far personally.

When you consider that it was shot with a camera under £5000, I would say it's quite 'amazing' that it can be done.

hmm... ok, so isn't 60p the progressive of 60i? and it should run normal speed right? but this is slow motion. am I missing something? was this played back in 24p?

It will have been 720 60p played back at 24fps.

60p records 60 progressive frames per second. Played back a 24 frames per second it creates slow motion.

The HVX is a native progressive scan camera.

That is some fantastic footage.. I honestly can't stop watching it. The lighting of the day and exposure is great.
