Snapping in Xpress Pro

I have Xpress Pro 5.5.1

I was wondering about snapping. Everytime I move a clip around it always snaps into various places (IE. Transitions, Inpoints). That is all well and good, but how to I get it not to snap?
 
I believe you hold down the SHIFT key or one of the other modifier keys such as CTRL, ALT, OPTION, etc.
 
None of them did it, but I found out how...I remember that in my 4.8.2 it never snapped UNLESS I held the Command Button down...Anyway, there is a Check Button under the Timeline Preferences-Edit that says "Default Snap To Edit." I just had to uncheck that. Thanks.
