Ok guys,
Been using the 5d for stills and video for about 6 months and while I am decent at going telephoto to wide with the ring and vice versa those moves are no where near as smooth as they should be.
So what do you guys use when you do have a zoom lens attached and need to do smooth ins and outs? Is there such a device? I suppose you could attach a long arm around the zoom ring and go that route. Any takers?
BTW-I know these lenses are not designed for video but previous to this DSLRs did not shoot video so with innovation should come more innovation.
That being said I have a Canon L 100-400 Push-Pull type zoom lens, any ideas on that style lens as well?
