Smooth Slo-Mo

How do you guys do it?


For my music video i am about to shoot on the HVX-200a,
I'll be using the slow-motion lip syncing technique used here
as described by barry green

i'll be shooting 720 24p/n over cranking at 30fps where then my song will be
speed up 125%

I will be editing in a 720 24p time line in FCP

And then i need to slow the footage down 80% (once shot) to get it in sync with the original song.

I have heard that some people use cinema tools to convert their footage to other frame rates, and then bring it into their timelines in FCP.


How does one do this?

Or if you have a better way of a smooth slo-mo, what is it?

720 60p will give you very nice slow motion.
