Hello Good People,
I've managed to get this piece of video onto a server(address below)for anyone to look at and offer explanation if they can.It only runs for about four seconds. As guy walks through shot his face trails off or smears behind him.I dont think it was shutter speed error.Any ideas
*I had to download and play in "media player" from my pc ,it would'nt play just by clicking on link.

Re: Smearing

That's weird. What setttings were you using for this clip? Is it possible the field order is rendered backwards?

Re: Smearing

Thanks for checking it out for me Hans.I think the project setting in Vegas was lower field first. The camera setting was F1 as far as I know and I dont think there was any adjustments made to the "scene file".Do you think its possible that camera and Vegas interlace(field order)settings were at odds?

That's correct.

I'm not familiar with Vegas but it's possible during rendering that it merged the interlaced fields incorrectly. Check the settings for frame blending and experiment with those. If it merged in the wrong order then you might get the jaggies in your clip.
