Hi Guys,

I got myself a SmallHD DP6 SDI monitor the other day and I am having a small issue where there is a single vertical line of yellow pixels on the far left side of the screen when I plug in my Af102 via sdi.

Any one have this problem? Is there an easy fix?

I have used my camera on a shoot with a friends DP6 and didnt notice the problem. That said I have had my monitor replaced by SmallHD because it had a small scratch on it when it arived and both the first monitor and the replacemnt did the same thing.

I have the current firmware on the DP6.

Any assistance is appreciated :)

I don’t have the SDI version but mine doesn’t show this issue. Did you try the the HDMI in?
Give SmallHD a call, their customer service is top notch.

I haven't called them cause I'm in Australia but I did send them an email, just waiting on a response.

I have to say, when I got the first one and it had some small scratches on it the were super fast and easy to organize a return and send out a replacement.
They have already been one of the most professional companies I have experienced ever! So totally recomend.

Im hoping its a simple fix in the settings or something to sort the AF100 issue

If you have the small line on two different monitors I would first swap out the SDI cable. If you have a friend who has the SDI plate I would swap that out too for a test. If the line goes away then that is the part to replace.

As Erik said, try the HDMI. If the problem then goes away you know it's something in the SDI connections, bracketry or circuitry.

I just got mine and I had no problem.
