I was AC on this one, and supplied my HVX-200. Our Camera operators were Jordan Lundy on my HVX and Steve Hiller on his EX1.

I know I'm supposed to expound on the experience, but this one was pretty straight forward...Steve brought along his light kit and did some wonderful work with that, and we proceeded to do some interview footage. A little intro and B was done outside the home as well. I was only on set for a day, when a large chunk of interview footage with the family was done, so I'll just leave it at that and give up the link to the trailer:

I'm up to Camera Op. on this project now. The DP/Regular Op was unavailable, as was sound, and last minute I put together a one man band rig(Minus mixer) and got the shots we needed.

Here's a link to a little bit of a cleaner copy of the trailer:

I put the HVX on my Indirails shoulder mount, added two Sony wireless lav receivers to the back, as well as mounting an extra mic in the Mic holder on the HVX, who's wire was coiled around the eyepiece and then down into my breast pocket where I recorded onto my Microtrack 24/96(who was powered from a pants pocket with a Tekkeon)....so we were running a total of 5 channels of sound: Stereo pair(on board mic), 2 lavs, and mounted. From what I hear from one of the producers(who doubles as our sound man{does sound for a living}), it all turned out well :)

I still think I need an external monitor on the rig, as I was holding everything too forward and after 8 hours of operating I was getting a little tired....I think some kind of extension system on the handles could help alot as well.

I had to boost the gain to 12db, as we did alot of indoors at night stuff and it was a GIANT get together with tons of people, so there was just no room for lights...I think I could use an on board light of some sort....I told the guys behind the project about Neat Video for noise clean-up, and hopefully they follow up with that.
