Borrowed a close up filter from work, and wanted to see how it would stand up against a true macro lens. The close up filter was on an 85mm 1.2, and the true macro lens was a Nikkor non-ai 55mm Macro 3.5. Most of the shots in the piece are from the Nikkor, as the close up filter created some weird color shifts and light leaks. I also ended up cropping the video to 2.35:1 (watching it on vimeo shows that better); Anyway, it's only a minute long, and wanted to share it, enjoy!
