Slow shutter speeds available?

I'm trying to find out about slow shutter speeds for my dvx100a. Is it possible to shoot with a slow shutter speed right onto tape, not having to do anything in post with speeding/slowing the footage? I know the XL1s/XL2 can do it just by settign the controls to select a slow speed so everything that moved had a slow motion blur effect adn there was more exposure.

I recently shot some footage in a club and wanted to open it up (very dark club) and get that cool effect. So can the dvx do it with no post work?

Thanks in advance:nads:

Yes the 100A has slow shutter speeds. You have to assign "slow shutter" to one of the user buttons and then engage that mode; then you'll be able to get slow shutter speeds down to around 1/4 of a second.

Ahh found it now... barry, you're the man, man!
