Hi everyone! I'm have this odd issue with GH1 footage shot with a low shutter speed not working in Premiere. I don't have this problem with other footage and the videos I'm having issues with play correctly in VLC and Windows 7 Media Player.
Whenever I have 720/60p footage shot with a slow shutter speed (lower than 1/30) Premier CS4 will load the video and list the correct length and frame rate. But when I play the video in Premier it starts by playing twice as fast as it should. If it's a 30 second clip, the first 15 seconds play back at double speed and then for the last 15 seconds it displays a green screen. The sound plays back at the correct speed.
Weird huh? I didn't think that changing the shutter speed would change anything about the file itself. Has anyone else had this problem? I have a feeling that a work around would be to open the video in another and convert the file to something else. Anyone have a suggestion of a program that handles the lower-shutter speeds correctly.
