slow motion....

i'm seeing a huge amount of noise, especially for an outdoor daytime shot. not sure if that is due to your compression methods or your camera settings, but that's definitely not normal.

I just downloaded the MP4 version off vimeo. There usual compression artefifacts visible, but no noise at all.

@nfc565:
Was this shot in 1080i?

yea it is the compression settings, they are very sh**ty. i was having problems with vegas crashing on me while rendering. also, i uploaded an hd version on my account, its called "HD?" im still getting used to the rendering/compression techniques on this camera.

@ pailes, yes, the stuff at the metal park was 1080 60i and the black park with the slow mo is 720 60p with a shutter of 1/1000.

The reason I ask is because one can clearly notice artifacts which either result from frame blending or interlacing.

On a sidenote I think you should always prefer 720 60p over 1080 60i.

yea i most deffinately do, the only problem is vegas' support of 60p....or lack there of haha. once an update allows me to edit it i will start always shooting 72060p
