Slow motion with Panasonic FZ-1000

Hi.
I recently bought a Panasonic FZ-1000 as a run-and-gun fourth camera :-)
I did some tests with various settings, and overall I am happy with it.
The disappointment came with the 100 fps (MP4 FHD 25p) slow motion. It seems of very poor quality to me: in low light conditions it is absolutely useless.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Roberto

I hear you have to crank up the gain in low light to get anything useful out of it, but it should be usable, as the noise will be removed in compressing to 1080.

Thanks. The scary part is that my second test was shot in the brightest sunlight I had seen in years, and the results are not much better than what I got in low light.
In this second test, the footage seems pixelated and mushy.
