Slow motion with PAL version

Hi all.

The PAL version comes with only 25p and 50i, so how can I shoot at a high frame rate to slow down in post? I know the NTSC users talk about shooting at 30p and slowing down but PAL has no 30p.

Someone suggested I shoot at 50i and slow down in post, but does that not mean that I lose the filmic look?
 
Like most of the PAL users do, if you intend to slow your footage down, DON'T shoot 25P. Shoot in 50i, with a shutter speed of 1/100 or 1/120. It will give you much better slow-mo results. I think having filmic look and a smooth slo mo are the two ends to balance here.
