GH2 Slow motion: Use 80% Variable Movie Mode or the new HBR setting?

I'm a U.S. GH2 user, so I'm in NTSC. I want to shoot some slow motion footage tomorrow, and I would normally use the 80% setting. However, with the 1.1 firmware, am I better off shooting with the HBR setting and then using Cinema Tools to put it into 24p??

A firmware hack might be the best answer, but I'm hesitant to get into that right now, and I really just want to get shooting tomorrow (it's a small personal project, no budget or crew).

What do you recommend? All I want is the slight slow-motion look of the 80% setting.

The advantage of shooting in 30p and conforming to 24p is that you retain audio recording which makes it more flexible in case you decide you need the camera audio for whatever reason.

Good point--thanks! Now, in terms of visual quality, are they the same or is the 30p a higher bit rate than the 80% VMM option? The manual implies that it's the same, but I'll test it later, unless someone else knows and can post.
