SLow motion, please help

I've looked high and low on this forum, please help.

I'm recording onto P2 at 50FPS (PAL LAND) and then I put it back down to 25FPS in the scene file F6, but it just plays in 50FPS on the P2 playback.

I've seen people playback slow motion before on the camera itself but I can't seem to do it.. what am I missing...

The 50FPS is also recording sound too for some reason, I didn't think it did at 50FPS.. any help/coments much appreciated.

I'm not sure of the menu item #'s in the pal model so I could be off here on the settings but in the recording set up menu (#5 in NTSC) set it to 720/25PN. Then go to the scene file menu (#1) set that to FILM CAM on the first line and then on the second line change the frame rate to 50fps. That will give you slo-mo at half speed that can then be played back and viewed in camera.
 
In menu 5 I was on 720/25P and not 720/25PN... cheers for the tip..
