Slow Motion in 720p30

I've been shooting with the DVX100a for over a year now and often shoot 30p in order to slow down the footage by twenty percent in Final Cut for artifact free slow-motion, now I've got the opportunity to shoot with this JVC HD-100 and I'm wondering if the same applies - thanks!

Yes you could do exactly the same thing. You could also shoot in SD 60P and up-rez it to HD resolution; it's not quite the same as full-HD frame-accurate slow-mo like you'll get from using 30P in a 24P timeline, but it's certainly better than frame-doubling or Twixtor'ing your footage.
