I have a shoot coming up where we'd like to shoot some slow motion of kids on a playground. Typically I've been shooting all of my projects at a UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160.
I've noted that the best you can shoot at for slow and quick motion is 60fps and then it gets slowed to 24fps on the playback side. Yet at an HD resolution we can do up to 180fps.
With that, are there any advantages to be gained with the XDCA-FS7 back? Or with other accessories?
I may just shoot 1080P and upsize it to 2160 if needed, but wondered what others are doing. We may also determine that 60fps gets us to the effect we want. Not sure yet. We just want that slower dreamier look to the footage.
