slow motion help

Hello

never had a needs for slow motion yet...., could u guys plz suggest me the settings i should use, i could do some tricks in posts by recording in 720/50p and slowing it down. But would like to find out about other options. i am from pal land.

No need to shoot 720 - The variable frame setting lets you shoot 50p at full 1080 and it's flagged as 25p so there is no need for any post mucking around.
 
yes you were right ..... i did not notice before that same button that is used for shatter is used for frame rates as well.... just tried it out - very cool!
 
Just don't get caught out buy putting the VFR back to 25p and thinking that you are recording normally. There is no audio recorded in variable frame rate even when set at a standard frame rate (but you can hear it in the headphones which is really annoying - you think you are getting it but you're not)
You must exit VFR if you want audio.
 
If you get the latest update there is a big, fat, "NO AUDIO RECORDING" (or something like that) which flashes in the monitor if you're recording in VFR. I think Panasonic heard everyone loud and clear about accidentally leaving VFR mode on.
