Slow motion car on fire

[mainstreetprod]

As a stock footage shooter I try to keep my camera in my car. It paid off yesterday- spotted a plume of smoke, assumed it was a brushfire but checked it out anyway.
The car's owner was standing by helplessly as he waited for the fire dept to show up.
!5 minutes later they came, but it was too late. HVX200 - 720p 24 overcranked to 60fps.

nice, even the part with the clumsy fireman flopping out of the truck, lol.

Very nice! The fireman falling is classic.

I felt bad for both of them- neither the car owner or the fireman were having a good day.

Carbecue!

haha, falling fireman epic fail. I've filmed 2 cars on fire, and an entire factory on fire in my days of camera carrying. Unfortunately it was all on my vx2100 so it didn't look quite as good.

I try to keep my camera in the car but it's been cold and I don't want to put my baby through that anyway on my way home from work guess what?

yes, FIRE!

No camera! So I'm about 5 minutes away from home at the time. After the 2 guys got pulled out of this upside-down burning car, I sped home and got my You know what!

It's on my bootleg little news page: http://www.youtube.com/hiddennewsmedia

You will notice the funniest thing. My camera was set for a previous recording and I just turned it on and started shooting. Bad Idea. You'll see the difference after I fixed it (somewhat)

anyway enjoy,

awesome over crank! I agree with everyone else who thought the fireman falling straight out of the truck was pretty funny!
