Here's a scenario. I want to be able to do a progressive shot which starts in regular speed, and at a specific moment, have it go into slow motion. For example, a person splashes a glass of wine into someone's face, and it starts at normal speed, then at the moment the liquid exits the glass, slow motion starts. 60p however at regular speed has a very "live" feel, pretty much like interlaced. So, is it possible to have a shot done in 60p, bring down the speed of the slo-mo part like you normally would, and somehow alter the first part of the shot so that it appears 24p?
Thank you for any help! It's appreciated very much!
Also another maybe dumb question---how can I edit in Final Cut and export the project to iDVD? Possible or impossible? I just am not familiar with DVD Studio and if I want to know if I can make a simple DVD this way if I need it quickly.
