Slow Mo Settings

Here's what you do...

shoot 60i
Set you shutter to 120
deinterlace - i use JES Deinterlacer (Free download)
In FCP you have to use Cinema tools to conform the clip to 23.98.
(I think other programs conform when you drop it into the timeline)
Re-import the clip to your project.
Put the clip in the timeline.

The idea is that interlaced frames can be devided and then squished giving you more frames in a shorter time... thus slow motion

Here's a video all done in 60i slow motion

That should give you an idea of the results.

Could you tell, what to do in Windows and Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. When I deinterlace my footage, I get a video file with 25 full frames per second (I use DVX100BE cam), then I add this footage to Premiere, but I don't know what to do next. When I set speed of the file to 50%, playback stops being smooth.

What should I do?
