slomo and timelapse on same timeline. Can it be done?

My goal is to mix footage shot in 720 30p(only mode for timelapse) with slomo footage shot in 720 24PN(shooting 60fps) mode, and incorporate them into the same Avid timeline. As far as I know this can't be done because one needs to specify either 23.98 or 59.95 when starting a new project. Has anyone found a good work around to this? I used AE to do the conversion for me but it just seems like a very inefficient way to do this.

AE to reassign tc numbers is your best bet. You are right, it's inefficient but we still have to use several softwares to make a single show. It's not as if it's ever really been efficient.

Be sure to use some motion effects with those timelapse and slow mo shots. We'd love to see the finished product.
