SLOG Lut Monitoring

I can't seem to crack the code...
I want to come out of my F3 to KiPro (1.5gb) to record and also send a LUT'd output to a client monitor. Is this possible? (without additional hardware?)
It appears to me that it requires 4:4:4 to the record device to do this.

cant you come out of the "a" port to the kipro, and the SDI port with a LUT to the client monitor? thats what I do.

No? as in it can't be done? I do this all the time. that was the point of having a "clean" S Log feed out of A, then being able to apply a LUT and feed that out of the standard HD SDI port. obviously if you are recording to SxS cards as well, they will have the LUT burned in, but you still have a clean S Log version on your KiPro. Its recommended to shoot with the 800% LUT on anyway so you don't have to push the colors around as much on your SxS cards.

The way I understand the question LeavingTheCandy wants to monitor out of the KiPro with LUT. What you said before is the correct way of doing it.
 
Why would you be doing that.....Recording LUT on ProRes422 and SLog on 420 XDCAM.
Just send the monitor out SDI with LUT to client while recording that on XDCAM and SDI A output of SLog to AJA Mini.

yeah, thats what I am saying.
 
To clarify: I want to record to KiPro and send LUT'd out to village. Which port goes to each? Whenever I come out of the Dual-link all I get is green. I'm either using wrong ports or settings, I suppose.
 
The F3 will output HD-SDI video out of the A&B ports to your Ki Pro Mini with no display and no LUTS, with the current payed upgrade you may output an MLUT from the SDI or HDMI ports on the F3, you may set-up your MLUT in Video Set menu after activating S-Log 1.5G 422 or 444 in the video set menu. If you are using an EVF and want to also use a client monitor with MLUT you would have to loop out of the EVF to the client monitor. You could also purchase a Blackmagic HD Link and take the SDI output from the KPM to the BM HD link and output preset 3D LUT to a client monitor from the HD Link. Hope this answers your question.
