Selling my F3 (maybe) but the purchaser wants to put the Slog444 on his other F3

Is this possible?

My camera came with an orange card but Ive shot on that a load of times so if the key was on that, well its gone? I had no clue that that card may have been of importance to the upgrade :(

Sony PMW-F3 cameras sold without S-Log activated required the use of a key card to enable the option. Buyers of the CBK-RGB01 key card received a 32GB SxS-1 card with the encrpyted key. To install the option they inserted the card into one of the SxS slots and then went to the menu to install the option. When they used "Install Option" they were required to input a 4 digit numerical pass code of their own choosing. This was how Sony kept the option from being uninstalled by renters or unscrupulous ACs. To uninstall the SxS-1 card should be cleared of any footage, inserted in the camera, and then select "Uninstall Option" in the menu. You will be required to insert the 4 digit code the original installer used. Then the option is back on the card, regardless of how many times footage was shot on it.

- If you were not the installer and bought the camera second hand, you ought to either reach out to the seller or look carefully through all your paperwork to see if they were kind enough or had the foresight to write the code down.

- If you would be unable to reach the seller or if they don't recall the code, you may need to reach out to Sony and see if they can or will help you.

You can extract the key to any SxS card by punching in the code you picked when installing the key. If you got the camera used with the key installed I hope you got the code also...
