Slog, Hypergamma on the F900

Slog is standard only for the F900R. But the F900/3 can load custom gammas. Is there any way to port Slog or hypergammas to the F900 or F900/3?
 
i guess you could try to make it as flat as possible - its not quite a log curve but i'm sure abel cine has a profile that does this.
 
Thanks for the reply, eddavid. Slog is preloaded into Sony's CVP File Editor. Could one load that version of Slog onto the F900/3? The CVP editor was designed for use with the F900/3, as well as the F35, F23, F900R, etc.

Happy to bring this thread back to life to all who care. Yes, it is possible to load a LOG curve into the F900/3 using CVP File Editor.. I have done it myself. This allows you to get the maximum dynamic range the sensor can give you which is pretty damn close to the F23. I've been able to get about 12 stops from the F900 using this method and the S/N ratio is beautiful!
