sLog and HDMI out?

Can you get HDMI out for a small HD when sLog is enabled for 422? If not - how can you use your fabulous small HD EVF?

And.... Also does anyone know if the upcoming software v1.3 that allows a Lut out of the standard SDI out will also enable a LUT from the HDMI.

I'm testing a small HD EVF and want to know if it will be useable with sLog.

Probably not since s log currently disables hdmi. But i will add that to my list of questions when I have a meeting with Sony hopefully within the next week.

Ned, Please let mn know right away what you hear from Sony. I have about 3 weeks left of evaluation on my small HD. I am ready to keep it , but will be quite PO'd if it turns out you can't use it with SLog. I think the cineroid is the only option for sdi. Gotta admit I sure would prefer sdi anyway as I already have issues with keeping the HDMI cables firmly connected.

I have the current firmware for the F3 w/ slog and the small HD DP4. there is no signal via HDMI when in S-log. As soon as you select S-log the HDMI signal cuts out. Not sure how Nate makes it work. I ahve the DP6 also and it's fine with SDI.

I had to go into the Output menu and choose between HD-SDI or HDMI. Which is another issue, of course, not having both. But I do get to choose between one or the other.

For the DP4 you have to set the output to 24p-> 59.94 pull down out put.

Of course you can if your recorder supports it. That will entirely be dependent on the recorder. I know the Ki Pro Mini and Nanoflash do it. Maybe someone else can chip in on the others.
