Slo-mo with HVX-200+firestore FS100 and FCP 5.1.2

Hi,

I shot some stuff with my HVX-200 (pal) and a Firestore FS-100. I shot in DVCproHD 720p25p mode. I did 12 fps, 25 fps and 50fps for slo-mo and high speed effects.

I used in FCP DVCpro HD 720p50 as compressor and HD(960x720) (16/9) as aspect ratio.

The problem is, I don't see slo-mo or highspeed effects. I need to render the 12 fps and 50 fps and when it is finished the 12 fps just looks more 'strobe'. The 50 fps looks normal.

So what is the correct workflow for slo-mo and highspeed effects? Can it only be done in the 720pN format (not supported by firstore)?

Thanks and a happy 2007!

You need the Panasonic Frame Rate Converter plug-in, found on the distribution disk on your FCP 5.1.2 crossgrade in the Extras folder.

But I'm shooting PAl and the converter only supports 59,94... I tried but it doesn't work.

Thanks anyway!
