Slo-Mo with DVX100 PAL

I have a question regarding settings on the DVX when creating slow motion video. When shooting interlaced and then importing the footage into a progressive NLE sequence and changing playback speed to 50% you can produce fairly good and smooth slow motion video. I'm using the PAL DVX so I shoot at 50i and then import into a 25P sequence. I want to know when shooting what shutter speed should be used?? I figure a shutter of 1/100s for PAL would be right and 1/120s for NTSC. I've read some PAL users also use 1/120s but I still think 1/100s is correct for a 50i 25P PAL clip... Am I right??
What is the correct shutter for PAL and does it make a noticeable difference to the final slo-mo clip using 1/100s compared to 1/120s???
